What’s Porn Got to Do with It?
Panel Discussion with Subject Matter Experts on the Issues, Causes and Hope

In partnership with several churches & ministries in Lakeway, PACT  is sponsoring an interactive panel discussion called What’s Porn Got to Do with It? on Sunday, September 30th from 6 to 8 PM at Lakeway Church. The purpose of the event is to start a conversation in our community to shed light on the hidden darkness of pornography. The event will help educate families and offer hope so that we can face this problem together.

Pornography is a community-wide issue.  Whether directly or indirectly, we believe every family is impacted by pornography.  Not only are families hurting, but pornography feeds human trafficking.   So collectively, we are calling churches to step into this space and help families see this issue with God’s hope and grace.

The evening will be divided into two parts – the first hour is a panel discussion with subject matter experts on the latest brain research, issues, causes, and hope surrounding this topic. The second will include breakout sessions for students, parents, men and women.

This event is open to the community and is free of charge. The content is designed for parents, grandparents, students, men and women.  We advise parents to use their own discretion on bringing their children.  We recommend the event for middle school and high school age students.

Partners for this event include Austin Christian Fellowship Lakeway, Luke 4:18 Ministries, Partners in Hope, ACTS Church. Casa de Oracion Para Todos Los Pueblos, The Church at Lake Travis, River in the Hills & Emmaus Catholic Church.
